MISSION STATEMENT
Burge Terrace Home Educators is committed to helping parents “train their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord” and exists to glorify God by pursuing academic excellence. We strive to provide opportunities to partner with families as they develop students who desire to become young disciples of Jesus Christ and fulfill God’s purpose for their own lives.
Membership Options
Burge Terrace Home Educators and Academy Membership
With your annual membership, your family gets to enjoy the benefits of:
- Field trips – some fees apply
- Service projects
- Homeschool support meetings
- Student academic and fine arts competitions
- Standardized testing
- Kindergarten/High School graduation
- Talent night
- Field Day
- Music lesson opportunities
- Piano
- Woodwind – flute, clarinet
- Voice
Annual Membership Investment: $75 per student 5 years and older for Burge Terrace Baptist Church member families. $110 per student 5 years and older for non-Burge Terrace members. Tuition and class fees are paid separately for each class your student participates in.
What does it cover?
- The per-student cost covers the cost of insurance for each child who will be in the building at any point.
- Building use/maintenance fees
- Membership to IACS (Indiana Association of Christian Schools) which allows for standardized testing and participation in any contests
- Registration/processing fees
- Thinkwave grading, attendance, and transcript system
Activities Only Option
If you do not wish to participate in any class, you may chose the activities-only option.
Activities Only Investment: $30/student 5 years and older.

- The per-student cost covers the cost of insurance for each child who will be in the building at any point.
