Expand your drawing/painting skills by pushing the creative envelope as you paint/draw still life, animals, or from your imagination. We will focus on perspective and drawing from life. Pencils, acrylics, and water colors will be used throughout the class. Weekly sketchbook assignments will keep skills sharp and art knowledge will be expanded.
One credit is only available for 9th-12th grade students.
Class Supplies Needed:
Pencils (2H, HB, and 2B variety), a good eraser (kneaded or white), 8 1/2 x 11 sketchbook (or larger), Sharpie markers (ultra fine and fine) black and any preferred colors, and water color paint palette for personal use. Students will be responsible to carry their materials with them on a weekly basis.
