Class Description:
Goals of this course are “to develop thinking and reasoning skills, to provide general knowledge of basic mathematical concepts including number systems, geometry, and functions, to develop problem-solving abilities, and to develop speed and accuracy in computation.”
Topics that will be studied are polynomials, linear equations, linear relations, quadratic equations, polynomial functions, systems of equations and inequalities, radicals, rational expressions and equations, and trigonometry.
