Game theory is the study of how people make decisions. This class will introduce students to decision-making using a combination of critical thinking lessons, moral and spiritual discussions, and actual games played in class! They will learn the basics of rational analysis when presented with constrained choices, and discuss how to make informed decisions based on their spiritual worldview (don’t worry, no debates). They will make decisions that will earn them rewards–and let them compete with their friends in games like Monopoly, Risk, chess, and more! (There may even be a military-style simulation that will run during 2nd semester.)
