Class Description:
This class will provide the student with a variety of experience with drawing pencils, markers, and collage. Students will complete weekly sketchbook assignments in addition to projects. Students will have the opportunity to practice and enhance their drawing skills with perspective, imagination, still life, animals, and other explorative ideas. We will study a variety of artists and movements and use our knowledge to analyze, interpret, and produce art in each style we study.
Class Supplies Needed:
Each student will need to purchase: pencils (2H, HB, and 4B) eraser, 8 1/2 x 11 inch sketchbook (or larger), sharpie markers, ruler, and colored pencils for their personal use. Students will be responsible to carry their materials with them on a weekly basis.
