Class Description:
At Robotics Club, our goal is to immerse team members in a fun environment where learning happens through hands-on experiences. Participants will have the opportunity to work as a team to design, build and program a robot using the VEX IQ robotics program. Throughout this process, good practices such as documentation and working together as a team will be highly encouraged and learning opportunities will rise from every design roadblock. After the robots are designed and tested, the team members will be able to enter their robots into multiple competitions against other robotics groups in the area, learn from their results and iteratively improve their robot.
The Robotics Club meets on Monday nights from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm and competitions take place on Saturdays. Our goal is to attend 3-4 competitions between early November and mid February.
As of 4/29/20 this class is full. Registrants after 4/29/20 will be placed on a waiting list.
This class runs from August through mid-March.
